Ri. Ri Hearts MAC Fall Collection 2. From MAC: Rihanna premieres her perfect palette of lavish fall colour . Lipstick in deep raisin, orange frost, creamy nude and the vivid red of Ri. Ri Woo match gleaming Lipglass, while eyes in contrasting soft and smoky cocoas complement luminous skin highlighted with Diamonds Cream Colour Base and Powder Blush in Bad Girl Gone Good. Let’s check out what I tried a little closer! This is a comprehensive review, so get settled in. I thought it applied evenly straight from the bullet, and almost leans a little peach which I think makes it a little more wearable.
With the mattes (Ri. Ri Woo and Talk That Talk), I find that the lipstick tugs and skips a little, so I applied with a lip brush, then went over it again straight from the bullet.
Both of the mattes that I have were a little drying, wore for over 6 hours, and slightly stained my lips. Talk That Talk seems a little patchy during application, so it may take some extra time to even out. I recommend Ri. Ri Woo (again), and Who’s That Chick for purchase. See this post for a comparison of Ruby Woo and Ri.

Ri Woo, and Talk That Talk. They correspond with their namesake lipsticks, and I think they’re nice to have, but certainly not essential since both shades stand on their own so well. I have the Ri. Ri Woo pencil, and I do like it for lining my lips with both the Ri.

Ri Woo Lipstick and Lipglass because it helps stop migration. The texture of the pencil is stiff and a little dry, for a matte effect.

It has the typical Lipglass tack to keep it in place for several hours, and a slight vanilla scent that dissipates shortly after application. Ri. Ri Woo Lipglass. Ri. Ri Woo Lipglass. Ri. It contains a vibrant coral blush with a satin finish, and a deep satin bronzer, embossed with Ri.
Ri’s signature. This was one of my favorite Ri. Ri Hearts MAC products already, so it’s nice to have it in the special packaging. I wear the blush more than the bronzer, and if I had one gripe, I wish the blush section were a tad larger because it can be hard to get my blush brush into that small area. Can we talk about the packaging for a minute? I was a little let down by the previous Ri. Ri releases because they were in standard black components, so my wish has finally been granted. I’ve read that some people think it looks cheap, but I don’t—I think the rose gold with Ri.
Ri’s signature in pink looks rockin’. Ri. Ri Hearts MAC Powder Blush Duo Hibiscus Kiss.

I hear Her Cocoa is a stunner, but I have Smoked Cocoa, and I thought the pigmentation and texture of all four shadows were lacking. There aren’t shade names for the shadows in this palette, but the darkest two were patchy when applied and difficult to blend. The remaining two were okay, but I just don’t think we should have to work that hard to make it work. I’m sorry about this one! I’ll check out Her Cocoa instead, I think I’ll have better luck. Ri. This deep, true black liquid liner did not budge at all. When it came time for removal, I had to use my oil- based makeup remover three times before I was able to get it all off. So if you’re looking for a black liquid liner to go this distance, Pointblack is your babe. I’m not super skilled at applying liquid liner, so the brush made my application a little shaky. It’s a little on the thicker side which helps stop it from going too wayward for those that are a little more experienced.

I’m pretty sure I’ve reviewed the Veluxe Brow Liners before, and in this collection there are two shades; Deep Brunette, and Deep Dark Brunette. It creates a softer, diffused look instead of a harsh line.
I totally recommend finding your color in this if you need a new brow pencil. Ri. Ri Hearts MAC Veluxe Brow Liner in Deep Brunette.

Gigablack Extended Play Lash is actually one of my favorite MAC mascaras, which I’ve previously reviewed here. It adds curl to my lashes, a little volume, and plenty of definition thanks to its small brush. It allows you to get in there and grab every last lash. Ri. This wasn’t the best shade for me personally, but it did wear for about seven hours before it started to fade. The texture is nice and smooth, and blends nicely on the skin. Ri. And last but certainly not least—we have the Cream Colour Base in Diamonds. This is a beautiful, creamy highlight shade that’s soft enough to blend easily, but not so soft that it settled in my pores.
I like applying a little dab of this on my cheek bones, the highest point of my eyebrows, and just a touch on the bow of my lip for subtle definition. Ri. Ri Hearts MAC Diamonds Cream Colour Base.
